Pet sitting and Pet Loss

To start my new blog , I would like to honor all those wonderful pets  that have come and gone in our lives.   On Wednesday March 26th,  Wilson Moore, a miniature Schnauzer, passed away suddenly.   As a professional pet sitter one of the downsides of this profession is pet loss.   Our experience with pet loss is frequent and heart breaking every time.  For you as the pet owner,  there is no distraction,  your little sweetheart or buddy will no longer be there to greet you, bring laughter to your day and be the comfort that no one else can provide.   To all the owners that have and  will experience this pain, our hearts go out to you .

“If you have a dog, you will most likely outlive it;  to get a dog is to open yourself to profound joy and,  prospectively,  to equally profound sadness.”            Majorie Garber
